Dr. Mathew earned his PhD in Biophysics and Computational Biology at the University of Illinois - Urbana Champaign in 2010. He worked for a few years as a healthcare industry analyst and software engineer, before going back to school to obtain an MSBS degree in medical physics at the University of Toledo in 2015. He completed his Medical Physics residency at the University of Minnesota, and is currently an assistant professor at the University of Minnesota Department of Radiation Oncology. His research interests in this group are in 3D printing molds for superficial brachytherapy applications.
